A word from our Managing Director – Ciaran Rowsome

"The thing that increasingly strikes me about the work which MultiTime does, is the number of existing clients that approach us for subsequent & specialised solutions. Often those new requirements are unrelated to the initial solution we would have supplied.  In each case, the result is that we provide solutions that improve the way our customers operate their businesses.

I feel that the confidence and inclusion which users show us, in this way, is a vindication of the innovation we can offer, the reliability of our systems and the hard work and dedication of the MultiTime team over many years."

About us ….

At MultiTime, we are experts in providing working time & rostering/scheduling solutions. MultiTime's parent company, FlexTime was founded in 1983 and through the years has built up a “blue chip” customer base comprising of Central and Local Government; major private organisations such as Marks and Spencer, AXA, Allianz; Call Centres ; Healthcare; Higher Education; Hospitality; Manufacturing and many Trade Union HQs. Indeed our systems and influence can be found in virtually every sector in business. We currently operate in the UK,Irish, Dutch and Belgian markets and have plans to bring our unique systems and methods to other countries.

In applying our solutions we have built our reputation on recognising the importance of taking into account the way in which each user organisation operates. In this way, our systems can be used in the most appropriate way, in each case. In addition, it ensures that the maximum benefit can be gained by each customer, from having technology designed & built by people who have a quarter of a century’s experience.

Our “purpose built” systems can cater just as easily for workplaces with just a handful of staff and as they can for major organisations, sometimes with tens of thousands of users. The solutions can be “off the shelf” or programmable with user specific modules.

Being web based, the location of the users is not an issue. For example, in some cases employees actually using the system are even located in a different country to where the system sits on a server.

Through a combination of our technology and advice we can show the value which our product & services hold for each user’s business.

We underline this with the development of a costed business case, explicitly showing how we can deliver benefits, savings and work place improvements. This is over a range of areas such as

We can cite a combination of practical examples of our own achievements from existing customer sites and also award winning research which we have carried out over our user base. Each saving and benefit is costed and the return on investment is shown which is invariably achievable over a very short period.

Overall we can underline to users of our system, where we can impact on a whole host of commercial issues such a decreasing their costs; increasing their market share; improving customer retention; increasing sales per customer; improving operational efficiency; decreasing operational expenses and reducing costs of sales.

Modern Techniques

MultiTime's innovative products & advice can allow organisations to match employees' lifestyles to their working life while, critically, at the same time, improving organisational performance. Key outcomes for organisations include - the ability to more easily attract & retain staff, reductions in absences & overtime and an increase in employee morale and commitment. Our systems have gained major acceptance from management in hundreds of organisations in the UK and the Ireland and beyond. That our “user friendly” systems have gained a similar acceptance from Staff, is evidenced through many of the large Trade Unions having implemented our systems in their own organisations.

MultiTime Limited were pioneers in introducing the Concept of Flexible Working Hours to the workplace. Over many years, this has involved consulting with staff, management and where required - trade unions, all with the focus of working out different ways of approaching the subject of time at work. In the 25 years since our foundation we have added to those skills gained with the subject of Flexible Working Hours – such that we supply solutions to any type of working time or rostering scenario. A common trait is the involvement of staff and their managers in an electronic and self running time recording and rostering process. That said, often our customers prefer that the management of the time recording and rostering/scheduling is handled is a more centralised way, by maybe the HR or Pay person.

Our systems can co-exist with the customers other systems- thereby say taking data from a HR system, sending data to a Pay system. In that context, our systems become a sort of “middleware”. Indeed we have so thoroughly interfaced with the PeopleSoft HRMS, that users might not even know which system they are using!

MultiTime Limited offers consultancy & advice, operates intense research projects and also runs regular “free of charge” Seminars on Time Concepts. These Seminars cover aspects such as Flexible Working Hours, Rostering & Scheduling, Job Sharing, Tele Working and many of the modern working arrangements that management & staff alike are looking for.

MultiTime's portfolio includes systems for Working Time Management, Rostering/Scheduling, Access Control, Staff Car Park Payment, Job Costing and ID Solutions.

So irrespective of the type and size of your organisation, we have the ability and solution to match your needs.
