Research: Enterprise Ireland Survey

The Irish Government through their New York offices – surveyed 40 major US companies in their attitude to the subject of flexible working hours and their potential interest in FlexTime’s systems.

Most of the companies had not yet established a formal flexible working hours scheme – so their responses were mainly based on what they predicted. The Companies included Abbott, American Express, Cigna, Wells Fargo, EDS, Merill Lynch, TimeWarner..

The following were the main findings:

  • Worker Satisfaction 47.5%
  • Recruitment 37.5 %
  • Enhanced Corporate Culture 35%
  • Enhanced Productivity 12.5 %

  • Attractive Working Environment
  • Sickness reduction
  • Reduced stress/travelling
  • Helps against Competitors
  • Those very interested in learning more of our system/company : 57.5 %
