INTRODUCTION

SYSTEM: VISIONTIME

 

One North East (ONE) is the Regional Development Agency (RDA) covering North East England.

ONE is one of nine RDAs in England that were established to transform the English regions through sustainable economic development.

Over 500 Staff and Supervisors at ONE use VisionTime from MultiTime, which is an our web oriented Flexible Working Time Recording system.

The Agency from the outset wanted to focus on the “time at work” issue in an  interactive way. This way, Staff, Supervisors and Senior Management are now encouraged to involve themselves in the use of new electronic and real-time techniques which VisionTime can offer to manage vital working time data.

Staff can submit their own updates or corrections to and absence records at their P.C.s with electronic approval coming form the supervisors. 

Reports on working time and absence activity are also available.        

Staff have a choice to key in and out at Touch Screens or at P.C.s.

The system also keeps a check on working time in the context of the EU ruling on 48 hour working.

The agency uses Topaz HR system - so in a recent move MultiTime has developed a software link between the two systems, to tranfer absence information. 

This means that HR staff can avoid having to enter data twice.
