The VisionTime system is scalable - so can suit even the smallest organisation or those that employ hundreds even thousands of staff. Through its innovative programmes and system facilities, VisionTime supports and encourages organisation to be more creative in terms of what working time arrangement can be agreed with staff.
With the new leigislation on flexible working, in place since April 2009, employees with children up to 16 years of age will be entitled to request flexible working. Between this and other options for employees under the Work and Famlies Act 2006, it further drives the flexible working agenda.
One customer of ours, for example, has agreed 350 different working time arrangements amongst a group of 500 employees. In that site flexible working hours is operating alongside home working, job sharing, term time working and many other forms of working time arrangements. Staff turnover and absenteeism has reduced - as the employer is making it easier for employees to "juggle" those work : life commitments.
VisionTime is therefore providing mamagement and staff with new web oriented ways to keep on top of managing this new and diverse flexible working environment.
Equally, of course, the system will work with arrangements that are already in place. For example, where flexible working is not considered an option, for example in a manufacturing environment, by using the our "24 7" rules engine, it allows users to manage time for Hourly Paid Staff including the most complex Shift arrangements. The system not only has an advanced staff scheduler - but further has an ability to break down shifts into hourly duties.
