VisionTimeWeb is designed to monitor all forms of modern Working Time options including Flexible Working Hours and Shift Working. The system calculates time for Hourly Paid Staff including the most complex Shift arrangements and then provides a seamless & automated interface to payroll. VisionTimeWeb also forms part of a larger Workforce Management concept – which combine to provide the customer with a seamless solution incorporating Rostering, Human Resources, Payroll and Access Control.
Each component of this Workforce Management System can stand alone or can be combined with the customer’s own existing solutions. For example, where the customer has a HR solution such as PeopleSoft or Midland SW already in place, then VisionTimeWeb can “plug in” to provide a larger and connected solution. Equally where a payroll system already exists on the customer site - VisionTimeWeb can work in tandem with it.
VisionTimeWeb offers management and staff unprecedented realtime access to vital workplace information on working time, absence and HR records, irrespective of the users physical location.
Clocking Devices: Staff can key in/out at Time Terminals, PCs, Touch Screens, Phones, PDAs and at Access Control Readers –plus a range of other devices. See section on Time Terminals and Devices.
Staff Involvement:
VisonTimeWeb allows the customer to decide what level of Staff involvement – if any – is possible. For example, where authorised, Staff can call up their own activity reports via the Intranet and/or Internet. Staff can also submit their own updates or corrections to time records “electronically” at their own PCs with electronic approval coming from the supervisor[s] or indeed any nominated person provided with the authority.
Time Rules:
One of the strengths of the System is its ability to suit the differing needs of each individual organisation’s working time arrangements and time rules.
LOCATION MANAGEMENT
VisionTimeWeb allows any designated person located anywhere in the network to instantly see who is in/out, where he/she has gone and will be returning. This is very powerful information for switchboard/reception Staff and also the Health and Safety function.
This feature alone can revolutionise workplace interaction – which many people would argue – has been blunted for instance, by the emergence of voicemail.
Staff and Supervisors can equally benefit from this and can also see who will be available for work on future days.

- DIY HR Software – where the HR function can create their own screens and data fields.
- VT Euro – keep details of employee attendance/working time per the Working Time Act on 48 Hour Working.
- VT Alert – sends auto alerts by email to supervisors and/or staff and the possibilities are endless – examples can be – telling the Supervisor that an electronic holiday request or time updates awaits attention; informing the Supervisor where an end of shift period is about to happen for any employee; reminding an employee that he/she forgot to clock out; telling staff what shift they will be on next week etc. etc .
